Dear Mrs. Kafia Suleiman, Secretary of the Kurdistan Women's Union, members of the Secretariat,

On the 32nd anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Women's Union, I warmly congratulate the Secretary, members of the Secretariat and all your honourable members. We hope that this anniversary will mark the start of a new chapter of work to achieve women's goals.

Since its founding as a leading organization, the Kurdistan Women's Union has played an important role in terms of organized struggle and campaigns, and has been significant in helping women to join forces and consolidate their abilities.

The Union has also been a platform for courage and freedom of expression in all fields, has raised awareness of women’s rights and has contributed to developing a modern and equal society.

On this anniversary, I hope that your organization will continue its struggle, and that you will remain at the forefront of championing women's rights and demands.
