Culture and Youth Committee participates in USAID's conference on Youth's Way Forward

Parliament’s Culture, Civil Society, Sports and Youth Committee on 27 September participated in the conference on ‘Youth’s Way Forward’, supported by USAID, the US Government’s international development agency.

The committee’s chair Salma Fatih (PUK) and some members and advisers, KRG Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani and US Consul General Robert Palladino, a representative of Kurdistan Region’s Presidency, and representatives of many foreign consulates, international and local NGOs took part in the conference.

The panels discussed the importance of youth in improving governance, young people’s needs, problems and obstacles and youth opportunities, and participants made their recommendations.
