Order of business for sitting of 7 September 2021: Voting on bills, resignations from committees
The Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament Dr. Rewaz Faiq calls MPs to a sitting on Tuesday 7th September 2021 at 11am, the third ordinary sitting of the autumn session of the third year of the fifth term of Parliament. The Presidency of Parliament announces the order of business of the sitting as follows:
1) Appointment and resignation of MPs in Kurdistan Parliament’s standing committees, per articles 28 and 34 of Parliament's Internal Rules of Procedure:
1. Resignation of Ziyad Jabbar Muhammad (PUK), from the Relations and Kurdish Diaspora Committee.
2. Resignation of Zekri Zebari (PUK) from the Municipalities, Communication, Transport and Tourism Committee.
3. Resignation of Hawre Bna Muhammad (Mala Star; PUK) from the Interior, Security and Local Councils Committee.
4. Resignation of Shirin Younis Abdullah (PUK) from the Committee for the Protection of Women's Rights.
5. Resignation of Shirin Amin Abdulaziz (Change) from the chair and membership of the Integrity Committee.
6. Resignation of Balen Ismaeel Haji (Change) from the Relations and Kurdish Diaspora Committee.
7. Selection of Shirin Younis Abdullah (PUK) for the Municipalities, Communication, Transport and Tourism Committee.
8. Selection of Zekri Zebari (PUK) for the Interior, Security and Local Councils Committee.
9. Selection of of Balen Ismail Haji (Change) for the Integrity Committee.
2) Voting on the following bills and legislative proposals, per articles 90, 91, 93, 96 and 97 of Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure:
1. Bill on Second Amendments to the Law on the Integrity Commission of the Kurdistan Region – Iraq (Law No. 3 of 2011).
2. Bill on Honours and Medals in the Kurdistan Region-Iraq.
3. Bill on Second Amendments to the Law on the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Kurdistan Region - Iraq (Law No. 14 of 1993).
4. Bill on First Amendments to the Law on the Ministry of Trade and Industry in the Kurdistan Region – Iraq (Law No. 10 of 2010).
The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament decides and announces the order of business of this sitting according to Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure, Article 5, Article 16 (paragraph 1), Article 18 (paragraph 3), Article 20 (paragraph 1), articles 47 and 48, Article 52 (paragraph 1) and articles 54, 55, 56 and 57.
