Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq meets with UAE's Consul General Ahmed Aldhaheri

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 21 September met with the UAE’s Consul General in Kurdistan Region, Ahmed Aldhaheri.  They discussed the good bilateral relationship and women in decision-making positions in Kurdistan’s institutions.

Dr. Faiq and Consul General Aldhaheri talked about the social and cultural ties between their nations. Speaker Faiq gave an overview of the peaceful coexistence between Kurdistan Region’s diverse religious and ethnic communities.

Speaker Faiq also highlighted the important role of women who are in leadership or decision-making positions in Kurdistan Region’s institutions.

Consul General Aldhaheri agreed with many of the Speaker’s points and hoped for the good relationship between Kurdistan Region and the UAE to be strengthened further.
