Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq and Social Affairs Committee discuss Bill on amendments to Juvenile Welfare Law

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 4 April 2022 met with the Committee on Social Affairs and Protection of Human Rights to discuss the Bill on Application of the Fifth Amendment (Law No. 21 of 1998) to the Law on Juvenile Welfare (Law No. 76 of 1983).

The Kurdistan Region Judicial Council has asked that the amendment be adopted in Kurdistan Region.

The committee discussed the bill’s articles in order to prepare their report and direct it to Parliament’s presidency, so that the bill can be scheduled for its second reading at a sitting.
