Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami bids farewell to China's outgoing Consul General Mr. Ni-Ruchi

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 6 December 2022 bid farewell to China's outgoing Consul General, Mr. Ni-Ruchi, and thanked him for his dedication to strengthening bilateral ties between Kurdistan Region and China.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami also conveyed his condolences to the people and Government of China on the passing of China's former President, Jiang Zemin.

Dr. Hawrami commended Consul General Ni-Ruchi for helping to launch the Chinese language studies programme at Salahaddin University in 2019. He added that Kurdistan Region can learn from China's experience of successful progress and development in many fields.

Consul General Ni-Ruchi said that during his five years in Kurdistan Region, he was glad to see more economic, cultural and educational exchanges between their nations.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami wished Mr. Ni-Ruchi success in his future postings.
