Parliament's Presidency wishes Christians in Kurdistan, Iraq and the world Merry Christmas

We convey our best wishes to our Christian brothers and sisters in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the world for a Happy Christmas, the celebration of the birth of the Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him).

Throughout history, the Kurdistan Region has been a centre of peaceful coexistence, acceptance of diversity and a haven for our Christian brothers and sisters as well as Christians who have fled oppression and found refuge in the Kurdistan Region.

We ask everyone to protect and preserve Kurdistan’s stability, peaceful coexistence, and religious and ethnic diversity, and to always improve Kurdistan’s good model.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to our Christian brethren.
