Secretary Muna Kahveci welcomes Mr. Stanislav Nokov, Head of Bulgarian Embassy’s Economic and Commercial Office in Erbil
Kurdistan Parliament Secretary Muna Kahveci on 20 December 2022 welcomed Mr. Stanislav Nokov, the Head of the Bulgarian Embassy’s Economic and Commercial Office in Erbil.
Secretary Kahveci and Mr. Nokov discussed the political, economic, trade and tourism situation and how it impacts the development of both their nations.
Secretary Kahveci highlighted the peaceful coexistence among the different religious and ethnic communities of the Kurdistan Region, and the protection of their rights and freedoms. She also highlighted that all the communities have full equal rights to do business.
Secretary Kahveci said, “The tourism sector is developing thanks to the peace and stability of Kurdistan Region,” and she added, “We are ready work with any country that seeks our friendship and helps us to progress.”
They discussed increasing tourism between their nations, which can also help to boost trade and investment, and how Kurdistan Region can learn from Bulgaria’s commercial expertise and its domestic production in many sectors.
MP Himdad Sabah Bilal (Turkmen Front) also took part in the meeting.
