Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq receives European Union's Ambassador to Iraq, Ville Varjola

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 13 December 2022 received the European Union's Ambassador to Iraq, Ville Varjola.

They discussed the latest political developments in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

Speaker Faiq stressed that national dialogue is the key and the best way to resolve political tensions. She expressed optimism about overcoming the challenges and making progress.

Another topic of their conversation was human rights, civil liberties and freedom of the press.
