Parliament's Presidency attend one-year commemoration of death of Dr. Rozh Nuri Shawes

Kurdistan Parliament's Presidency on 15 February 2022 attended the one-year commemoration of the death of Dr. Rozh Nuri Shawes, a former Speaker of Parliament, Peshmerga and statesman.

The Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq, Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami and Secretary Muna Kahveci participated alongside Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani, senior government officials, MPs from different parties, foreign consuls and the late Dr. Rozh's family.

At the commemoration in the Martyr Saad Abdullah Hall, videos and photos were shown of the life and career of Dr. Rozh Nuri Shawais, as a Peshmerga, politician, Speaker and senior government official.
