Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami meets with Head of EU Liaison Office Marie Paret

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 16 January 2022 received Ms. Marie Paret, the Head of the European Union's Liaison Office in Erbil.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami and Ms. Paret discussed the latest political developments in Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the wider region, and the Iraqi government formation process. 

They also talked about the next Kurdistan Parliament election. Deputy Speaker Hawrami said that it is important for the democratic process that the election be held on time.
