Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami receives HAK-PAR Freedom and Rights Party delegation

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 9 January 2022 received a delegation from HAK-PAR, the pro-Kurdish Freedom and Rights Party of Turkey, led by the party's Secretary General Latif Opozdemir.

Mr. Opozdemir said that the Kurdistan Parliament is a source of pride and is an example in the region of democracy and women's strong participation in decision-making.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami and Mr. Opozdemir shared the view that issues must be solved through peaceful, non-violent means.

They discussed the political situation in the region.

Dr. Hawrami gave the HAK-PAR delegation an overview of Kurdistan Parliament's work and parties.
