Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami receives Huda Par (Free Causes) Party delegation

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 9 January 2022 received a delegation from Huda Par, the Free Cause Party of Turkey, an Islamist Kurdish party led by Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami gave an overview of Kurdistan Parliament's MPs, parties, women members and seats reserved for Kurdistan's ethnic and religious components.

Mr. Yapıcıoğlu said that Huda Par wants to understand the Kurdistan Parliamentary system and to build ties with Kurdistan Region's political parties. 

 Dr. Hawrami talked about the laws passed by Parliament and the work over several years to draft a Kurdistan Constitution.

They discussed the political situation in the region.
