Parliament publishes data on bills, legislative proposals and draft resolutions in the current fifth term of Parliament until end-2021

14 January 2022 - Kurdistan Parliament’s administrative and committees directorate prepared the following data on Parliament’s legislative work in the current fifth term, until the end of 2021.

The tables (in Kurdish) present the following information, from the beginning of the current Parliamentary term until end-2021:

Table 1: Bills, legislative proposals and resolutions passed by Parliament.

Table 2: Legislative proposals and draft resolutions rejected by the Government or Parliament’s standing committees.

Table 3: Legislative proposals and draft resolutions that have not yet been received a response from the relevant authorities.

Table 4: Legislative proposals and draft resolutions that have not yet had their first reading at a sitting.

Table 5: Legislative proposals and draft resolutions that are undergoing the legislative process (of drafting, readings, etc.).

Note: The current term of Parliament completed its third year at the end of December 2021, and after a short recess it will begin its fourth year. Each term of Parliament is four years.
