Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq conveys condolences on passing of academic and writer Dr. Marif Omer Gul

I am very saddened to learn of the passing of Professor Marif Omer Gul, a leading figure in Kurdish humanities and literature, and a renowned professor of international law. Dr. Marif's demise has left a void in Kurdish literature and academia.

On this sad occasion, I express my deepest sympathy to his family and friends and to all of Kurdistan's writers and intellectuals. May his soul rest in peace, and may God give his loved ones strength and patience to bear their loss.
