Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami meets with the Symbol of the Martyrs NGO

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 27 July 2022 met with Mr. Sarkan Jamil, Head of the Symbol of the Martyrs NGO and several of its board members.

They discussed the welfare and livelihoods of the families of the martyrs in the war against ISIS. Deputy Speaker Hawrami thanked the NGO for its work over the past five years of serve those families and said, "You have chosen to carry out noble and commendable work," and he reaffirmed Kurdistan Parliament’s support.

The head and staff of the Symbol of the Martyrs gave the Deputy Speaker an overview of their work over the past five years of helping the families of those who lost their lives in the war against ISIS.

The father and son of a martyr presented Deputy Speaker Hawrami with a plaque.
