Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on Eid gives best wishes to Peshmerga forces in Gwer

4 May 2022 - Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on the third day of Jezhni Ramadan (Eid Al- Fitr) visited Kurdistan’s Peshmerga forces in Gwer to convey his best wishes for Eid and to discuss the conditions for the forces and the security situation in the area.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami was welcomed by the commanders and officers of the Peshmerga forces in the area. On behalf of the Kurdistan Parliament, he commended the Peshmerga for their courage and skill in defending Kurdistan’s civilians and territory in the face of the ISIS terrorist organization, and for protecting Kurdistan Region’s Constitutional status and entity.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami said, "Kurdistan’s Peshmerga forces have always been the shield that protects Kurdistan and our constitutional status.”
