On the 60th anniversary of the Kurdistan Teachers Union, I congratulate the president, members of the secretariat and all the teachers of Kurdistan, and I wish you continued success.

On this happy anniversary, I hope that your union’s work will continue to grow stronger.

I value the vital role and influence of teachers and thank them for patiently continuing their noble vocation and responsibilities even in the most challenging situations. Teachers’ selflessness and sacrifices at different stages and eras will always be remembered by the people of Kurdistan.

We in the Kurdistan Parliament fully support your union’s democratic and civil-society efforts to be of greater service to Kurdistan's teachers and to help them earn a better livelihood that properly repays their efforts and sacrifices.
