Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq welcomes India’s Ambassador to Iraq Prashant Pise

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 2 November 2022 with India’s Ambassador to Iraq Prashant Pise discussed their nations’ shared culture of peaceful coexistence and developing closer bilateral relations.

Speaker Faiq and  Ambassador Pise noted that the people of Kurdistan Region and India have in common a strong culture of practising peaceful coexistence between different religions and ethnic groups, diversity and mutual acceptance between all communities.

They also discussed developing closer bilateral economic and trade relations and exchanging knowledge and expertise in areas that will help to increase scientific and technological capabilities.

India’s Consul General in Kurdistan Region Mr. Subhash C. Kain accompanied Ambassador Pise at the meeting.
