Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami welcomes Russian Federation's new Consul General Mr. Maxim Rubin

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 26 September 2022 welcomed the Russian Federation's new Consul General in Kurdistan Region, Mr. Maxim Rubin. They discuss the historic relations and close ties between their nations.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami congratulated Mr. Rubin on his new posting and wished him success.

They discussed the important political, economic and educational relationship between the Kurdistan Region and the Russian Federation, which began decades ago.

Consul General Rubin thanked Deputy Speaker Hawrami and said that Russia values its historic ties with the Kurdistan Region and hopes to develop them further.
