Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq in Slemani visits Hiwa Hospital and Zhiyanawa Cancer Treatment Centre

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 4 September 2022 in Slemani visited Hiwa Cancer Hospital and Zhiyanawa Cancer Treatment Centre, where she met with their directors, staff and advocacy boards.

Speaker Faiq thanked the staff of the two hospitals for their dedication and patience in treating and serving patients, despite financial difficulties. They discussed at length the two hospitals’ problems.

The Parliament Speaker pledged to make every effort to help solve their problems through the relevant Kurdistan Regional Government authorities, so that they can continue to provide the same level of treatment to cancer patients who come from all the governorates of the Kurdistan Region as well as southern and central Iraq.
