Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq welcomes Kurdistan National Congress Co-Chair Zainab Murad

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 14 September 2022 welcomed Ms. Zainab Murad, Co-Chair of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK), and her colleagues.

Speaker Faiq and Co-Chair Zainab Murad discussed discussed the current political situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and the challenges to the political process in Iraq in general.

Both sides emphasized the importance of achieving unity and solidarity between Kurdistan's political parties in Baghdad, to protect Kurdistan Region's political status and its constitutional rights and achievements.

MP Abubakir Haladni (Kurdistan Islamic Union) participated in the meeting.
