Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq welcomes Russian Federation's new Consul General Mr. Maxim Rubin

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq on 26 September 2022 welcomed the Russian Federation's new Consul General in Kurdistan Region, Mr. Maxim Rubin.

Speaker Faiq congratulated Mr. Rubin on his new posting and wished him success.

They discussed relations between the Kurdistan Region and Russia and furthering the relationship especially in trade, education and culture.

Consul General Rubin thanked Speaker Faiq for her warm welcome and said that Russia places great importance on its ties with the Kurdistan Region and that he will work to strengthen them further.
