Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq lays wreath at memorial for victims of 1st February 2004 twin terrorist attacks

Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq attended the remembrance ceremony for the twin terrorist attacks in Erbil of 1st February 2004, in which over 100 people were killed.

Speaker Faiq was alongside KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, Kurdistan Region Vice President Mustafa Said Qadir, members of Parliament's martyrs and genocide committee, ministers, party officials, foreign consuls and the families of the terrorist attacks' victims.

Speaker Faiq laid a wreath at the monument for the victims of the 1st February 2004 tragedy, which is in Sami Abdul Rahman park.

The twin terror attacks of 1st February 2004 were perpetrated against two offices of the KDP and PUK in Erbil, where the parties were hosting Eid celebrations. 103 people were killed, including government officials, party leaders, party staff and supporters, and children.
