Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq congratulates Kurdistani Nwe newspaper on 31st anniversary

Dear Editor in Chief, management, journalists and employees of Kurdistani Nwe newspaper,

On the 31st anniversary of the first issue of Kurdistan Nwe, a unique publication among the Kurdish media, I extend my best wishes and wish you continued success.

On this happy anniversary I take this opportunity to pay tribute to all the brave writers who established the first balanced daily newspaper, based on the ethics and laws of journalism, in free Kurdistan after the Uprising.

Kurdistani Nwe, as a free platform for different opinions, has been at the forefront of Kurdish journalism. History testifies to the critical and influential era when it took the lead and paved the way for others.

Over 31 years, Kurdistani Nwe has contributed high output to Kurdish journalism and has been a training ground for journalists and media workers.

It remains the top in its field and has become more professional and weighty, and I hope will continue its success.

Best wishes to all who have worked and served this beloved newspaper since its first publication.
