Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq conveys best wishes on Kurdistan Lawyers Day

On Kurdistan Lawyers Day, I give my best wishes to the head and members of the council of the Kurdistan Lawyers Syndicate and to all Kurdistan’s lawyers.

This occasion reminds us of the importance of protecting the rule of law and the independence and impartiality of this influential profession. That is why the Kurdistan Parliament will support you in any measures that strengthen your important vocation. Lawyers play a significant role in serving justice and restoring rights.

I hope that lawyers will continue to uphold the rule of law, promote the cause of justice and uphold the principle of equality before the law between individuals in society, and I call on institutions to respect the dignity of the legal profession as upholders of justice.
