Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami bids farewell to India’s outgoing Consul General Mr. Subhash C. Kain

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 27 March 2023 bid farewell to India’s outgoing Consul General, Mr. Subhash C. Kain, and thanked him for helping to develop parliamentary exchanges.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami wished Mr. Kain success in his future postings and appreciated Mr. Kain’s work to strengthen bilateral ties.

Dr. Hawrami said that the Kurdistan Region has a great deal to learn from India’s diversity, good governance and democracy.

He thanked India for exchanging parliamentary knowledge and expertise with the Kurdistan Parliament’s administration.

Outgoing Consul General Kain said that Kurdistan Region is an example for all of peaceful coexistence between different communities.

They agreed on the importance of continuing on the same path of developing closer relations and more parliamentary exchanges.
