Secretary Muna Kahveci congratulates women in Kurdistan and worldwide on International Women's Day

This March 8th, International Women's Day, my best wishes go out to all women in Kurdistan and the world. My hope is for the continued and greater success of all women in Kurdistan.

Throughout history, the women of Kurdistan have stood alongside men at every stage of life in our development and progress and in the people’s liberation movement.

On this day of celebration, we should focus on achieving greater social equality and justice and greater women's participation in politics and government and at all levels of decision-making. It is important that we continue our efforts.

My best wishes for the success and prosperity of all women in Kurdistan from all our diverse communities.
